Friedman Place resident Min Naing, a blind refugee from Myanmar, was reunited with his wife and his 7-year-old daughter today. It had been three years since Min had seen his family in his battle-torn country, and the happy reunion took place with the help of the World Relief organization. Though they will reside in an apartment in nearby Rogers Park, Min will visit Friedman Place often.
