News at Friedman Place

Purim is a joyous holiday, and residents marked the occasian by baking hamentash cookies. They rolled and filled the dough, and while the cookies were in the oven, listened to a reading of the Purim story.

The word hamantash is a reference to Haman, the villian of Purim, as told in the Book of Esther.

Happy Purim!
